We'll discover the charm of Portugal, its nature, an enchanting schist village and the magnificent city of Tomar, where the beauty of the Convent of Christ (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), home to the Knights Templar for centuries, awaits us mysteriously.
The first stop will be at the magnificent xisto village, Casal de S. Simão. Perched on top of a hillside, the village overlooks the beauty of the huge cliffs, which surround the river of fresh and transparent water.
We will explore the village and take a walk along the walkways that surround the cliffs, enjoying the plants, trees, birds and all the beauty that nature has to offer.
After lunch, we will set off in the direction of Tomar to discover the city and the Convent of Christ, a World Heritage Site (UNESCO).
We will visit the historic centre of Tomar and the church of S. João Batista, which was built in the “Manuelino” style, the singular Portuguese architectural style of the 16th century. 16th
We will also visit one of the oldest synagogues in Europe, the Tomar Sephardic Synagogue and its restored Mikveh.
The visit to the Convent will include a journey to the Knights Templar Order mystical.
The symbolism is all over the building and to understand the hidden meanings of each part of the Convent is to understand the true mission of the Knights.
Headquarter of the Knights Templar Order for nearly seven hundred years, the Tomar Convent has thousands of stories to tell.

For a 97% refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cutoff times are based on the experience’s local time.
